Holy crap.

They really don't delete these things, do they?

I mean, I don't think I've done anything on here since May. If I ran Xanga, I'd be like "Hey, this guy hasn't been on for a week. Let's delete the account."

But you know what, they didn't, so at the behest of someone (it might of been Catrina... really can't remember), I've decided to get on for a couple of minutes.

Nobody really posts. It's kinda sad... I think MySpace killed Xanga.

What if MySpace and Xanga were like, monsters or something. And Xanga is like "I'm a big monster! Nothing can stop me!," and the MySpace like explodes from like a small peasant like animal into a huge bigger monster, with all sorts of crazy attention craving "friend fiends," and gets into a big fight with Xanga (which will now be refered to as "Xangazord").

And Xangazord is like "BRING IT MYSPACE." And then MySpace is like "Fine, I will... Attack the Xangazord crazy friend craving users!" And then the Friend Fiends go to Xanga, and like attack it, and make the mighty Xangazord really weak, and feeble.

Now much time has passed since that epic battle, and the might of the powerful Xangazord has long been forgotten. In fact, only an elite underground tells of the wonders of the Xangazord, and the members of this underground are known as "Debaters."

Anyway, thus ends my blog.

I swear, someone should do the Xangazord story in like a DI, or something.

Once again, I've waited forever to post, and this time, I got in trouble for it...

This has been a most bogus week. I've had these cramp-like things for a while now, right? So I went to the doctor about 3-4 weeks ago and he wrote a prescription. Unfortunately, it didn't help, so I went back on Monday. After poking around my tummy for a while, he told me that I'd need to get a CT scan that day, which kinda freaked me out a bit. So I went to the hospital, and had to drink 3 huge glasses of Iodine solution crap, and then eventually threw it all up... on a lady sitting by the garbage can. Then they got me in the scanner, and then tried to put the IV in,  but couldn't because after they inserted the needle, they couldn't find the vein. Then they did the scan, and the following Tuesday, we got the results:

I have kidney stones. Two of 'em waiting to go in fact.

This sucks.

Marching band is interesting right now. The clarinets have kind of rebelled again, except this time, a few of them are on my side, which feels really, really good! There's some clash going on too within others in the section, because some of them screw off, particularly Nathan, and then others crew around too, people get mad at them, then I get mad, then they all hate me, because I got mad that they weren't working. It's a vicious cycle I suppose.

I'm taking bets on who gets clarinet section leader... I know who I want to get it, but I don't really know what Parker is looking for. If he's looking for experience in years/age he'd pick Melissa Dewitt, or Kyrie. If he's looking for ability Becca is just as good as playing, and possibly better at marching than Kyrie, although probably equal to Melissa in both. Melissa is pretty good, no matter what her reputation is. As for who would get along with everyone the best, I'm not sure. Kyrie is kind of... I don't really know. Dewitt has a horrible reputation for actions of the past, and would have to overcome that, although I think everyone should shut up and deal with it if they pick her. I think Becca would be great, but she would have to overcome that whole age thing, which is a debate in itself, isn't it?

Oh well, I have now updated, and don't have a whole lot more to say, although I probably will later on in the day...

Later.

Wow, it's been a really, really long time since I've updated. Has anything really gone on though... I doubt it.

I got a new cell phone. That was kinda exciting I suppose.

Rachael (my ex-girlfriend) is been kinda freaky. Like, I normally go out of my way to avoid her, right? But she's being really creepy, and calling and leaving messages for "parting rituals" recently, even though we've been broken up since early January, and she runs up behind me in front of everyone at Eastern, and leaves these weird notes with me, and it almost looks like we're still going out because of that. It makes me so mad that I got over the break up really quick and she STILL hasn't. In fact, I broke up with her, and am a lot happier without her in most cases!!!

What makes it worse is that she does all of this in plain sight of this person I like, and would kind of like to "get involved" with, if that makes any sense. (Don't worry, it's not you Catrina!:))

Besides, doesn't a "parting ritual" sound really freaking new-age, and creepy? Maybe it's just me...

Band is nice. I might play Clarinet. I might not. It's better that I lead the section though I suppose, rather than let anarchy ensue. The clarinets really don't know how miserable things could get without me though. Sure I got mad during marching band, but that was because of Rachael getting me all screwed up in the head, and the fact that I didn't want band to be over. There's the truth of why I was often kind of negative in my thoughts.

In reality, I was proud of every single one of my clarinets, and still am! Sure we get in fights, and sure, half of 'em still hate me. But I still care, and that's why I'm still here.

Ooh! I'm most likely going to become an assistant next year at Mt. Spokane H.S. in their marching band. I'm excited, and the Drum Corps trip is coming soon too! For those of those wondering why I'd be at MS next year rather than CV, CV has a policy where you have to wait 2 years after graduating to assist at the school. It seems stupid, but there are actual reasons for this, and if you want, I can tell you the stories, but I really don't want to write them down now...

And I got a scholarship. The sad part is that it is my grandpa's memorial scholarship, so I suppose I was a shoe in. The other sad part? It's a car club scholarship, and I can barely check my oil. But in reality, I met + exceeded the qualifications, so I guess I deserved it. Humility is a virtue though...

Debate goes well too. I was voted "best varisity debater" and "best LD debater," so I suppose I'm doing OK. I get to come back as assistant coach next year too, with an LD emphasis, whcih I'm looking forward too. I love philosophy! Kierkegaard rules all!

For the debaters out there, didn't that Skansgard speech really piss you off? In fact, doesn't Michael Skansgard in general piss you off?

Oh well.

My senior year comes to an end. Our time [the seniors] in this world [high school] is coming to an end. We'll make it though, I suppose. Some of us will become successful, and some of us will ultimately fail. I plan on finding a happy medium somewhere in between success an failure, because that is actually living my friends. Mistakes keep life interesting, and we sometimes grow from them, except when dealing with political leaders...

With that, good night!

Hmmm, my last entry wasn't labled as being updated. Let's hope this one goes through...

7 days until the 2005 DCI countdown extravaganza!

The Evergreen band field trip was cancelled, and kinda made me mad. Oh well. Speaking of band, I have to go to it about now, considering it starts in 15 minutes...

Later.

Only 8 days till the DCI (Drum Corps) Movie Extravaganza!!!!!

It's gonna be so cool! Phantom of the Opera is gonna rock my world! (Again...) All of the other shows will be cool too, especially the Velvet Knights show, but April 21st 2005 will be the day everyone sees that the 1989 Santa Clara Vanguard had the most "awesomest" show of all time.

They'll also see that the Cavies are bogus...

Oh well. Some people actually like them. I don't really. (Except I kinda liked Niagra and Four Corners)

Band is a happier place as of now. I finally get to play Oboe, and I don't think Michael Moore (the other oboe) hates me... yet. And the Lilac Parade is coming up. It's almost time for practices and sectionals!

Lilac parade sectionals are sooooo much more fun that Field Show sectionals. They're so much more relaxed, and you just have to work on not drifting, street manuals, different techniques, etc... I think the rest of the Clarinets would agree too.

I'm running out of time to fill out scholarship apps, so I'd better get going.

Also, of anyone wants to go to my senior project presentation, just let me know. It's going to be really really cool!
